Leading strategy & ops for HP’s software org by day.

By night (and nap time), building a business for financial freedom. Also writing about life design, parenting three young kids, and experiments for more joy, efficiency, and stronger relationships.

What I’ve been up to

I’ve spent the last 15 years building and leading products at high-growth software companies, with a 3-year stint in venture capital along the way.

I’ve launched things that brought in millions in revenue, reached hundreds of thousands of users, and shipped hundreds of features — but really, I’m just good at getting things out the door fast, figuring out what works, and doubling down.

I’ve worked every stage from pre-seed to IPO, taken on leadership roles at a Fortune 100 giant and an iconic unicorn, and been part of two startups that went on to exit. I like living at the intersection of product and revenue — making clear roadmaps, asking the right questions, and building teams who are genuinely fired up about what they’re building.

Where I’ve built / operated / advised:

  • Expa, Principal, supporting pre-seed and seed founders on product, hiring, and fundraising

  • HP, Director of Product on Digital Employee Experience software platform

  • Calm, Product Lead on stealth project ($2B valuation)

  • Modsy, Growth & Product (personalized 3D interior design startup acquired by Lennar; VC backed by Norwest, GV)

  • Rocket Fuel, Product Marketing (early leader in ad tech —hyper-growth to IPO)

  • Foursquare, Customer Success & Partnerships (in the SoLoMo space - you’re a real one if you remember this)

  • Bloom Energy, pioneering clean energy solution (VC backed by NEA and Kleiner Perkins)

I have a BS from Stanford in Civil & Environmental Engineering, where I also played varsity soccer — glory days I’m still hanging onto 15 years later. Now, I’m blending that operator’s lens with experiments in business building, parenting three young kids, and making real life run at least half as smoothly as my spreadsheets.
